Pohutukawa

Cut on red mirror, this beautiful design replicates our stunning pohutukawa flower. There is kōrero from coastal iwi that the pohutukawa was the traditional tree they would tie their loves ones too as part of the process for preparing the tūpāpaku. 

Pōhutukawa is the eldest star of her siblings and is associated with those who have passed on. Her presence reminds us to honor and remember our ancestors.
